4chan trollet TikTok-ere til å tatovere Ƶ-symbol

LOL: Fy satan folk er dumme. Særlig «Gen Z-ere» på TikTok.

4chan greide å trolle Gen Z-ere på TikTok til å tatovere på seg et Ƶ-symbol, for å hedre samholdet mellom zoomerne som generasjon.

Problemene dukket opp da det i ettertid viste seg å være et symbol som betyr noe heeelt annet.

Ifølge publikasjonen Insider ble zoomerne på TikTok lurt til å tro at symbolet betyr «opprørsk».

Insider skriver tirsdag:

A popular TikTok trend has encouraged members of Gen Z to get matching tattoos of a symbol associated with Nazism.

The symbol, a capital Z with a line through the middle, was proposed by the user who started the trend, @smoothavacado, as a representation of «unity» and «a sign of rebellion» for Gen Z.

The TikTok user who started the trend later said in a video that she did not know the symbol had connections to Nazism and renounced the idea.

UPDATE: TikToker who started Gen Z Nazi tattoo trend apologizes and says she did not know it was a Nazi symbol, adding that she always wrote her Zs that way.
